Cornelia "Connie" Ann (Holmes) Snow

Sumter, SC…. Cornelia “Connie” Ann Holmes Snow, age 84, wife of over 50 years to the late Glenn Andrew Snow, died on Saturday, January 28th, 2023 at Covenant Place.

Born in Lexington, NC, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Holmes and Daisie Wilson Holmes. Connie retired after 38 years of teaching.  She loved teaching and taught in both North Carolina and South Carolina.  She had close friends everywhere that she lived.  Connie was a faithful member of Aldersgate UMC and was a member of the Wesley Sunday School Class.  She loved doing many various crafts as well as decorating the halls of both Aldersgate and Covenant Place.  Connie enjoyed her time living at Covenant Place where she assisted with their newsletter and enjoyed participating in the many activities that were offered.  Her true joy in life came from spending time with her family.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving to cherish her memory are a son, Bryan Andrew Snow of Dalzell; a daughter, Melanie Dawn Snow McDade and her husband Casey of Colorado Springs, CO; two grandchildren, Christopher McDade and his wife Marina, and Jason McDade.

The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service, on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 10:00 – 11:00 am at Aldersgate UMC.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 11:00 am at Aldersgate UMC with the Rev. Laura Whitt officiating.
