David Brian Eron

Sumter, SC…..David Brian Eron, age 73, beloved husband of 31 years to Shelly Allen-Eron, passed away at his residence, on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

David was born in Washington, DC, a son of the late Richard Eron and Norma Hess Eron. He will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor, fishing, and his love for his family, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by his son, Jared Allen and his wife Chelsea of Ocala, Florida; his daughter, Miranda Caughman and her husband Joshua of Bishopville, SC; his brothers, Paul Eron of Sumter, SC, Chris Eron and his wife, Aloysia of Sumter, SC, Jimmy Eron and his wife Jeri of Hattiesburg, MS, and Tommy Eron and his wife Rhonda, and his favorite granddaughter, Sadie Allen.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John Eron Sr. and Richard Eron II.

A visitation will be held at the family home on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
