Dalzell, SC ….. Ema Renteria Mowen, age 77, died on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at her residence.
Born in New Braunfels Texas, she was the daughter of the late Fermin Renteria and Herminia Hernandez Renteria. Ms. Mowen served with the United States Marines and was retired from the Department of Defense. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Surviving are two children, Carl Mowen and his wife Cynthia of FL and Anita Self of Dalzell, SC; one brother and one sister; three grandchildren, Erik Self and his wife Kristina, Christy Mowen and her husband Curtis and Joshua Rivers and two great grandchildren, Christian Mowen and Christia Christian Mowen and a special friend, Dominique Crim.
Services will be private.
