Sumter, S.C........Ethelene Sissie McLeod, age 59, passed away peacefully at her residence on June 10, 2024. She was fondly known as “Elly Mae” and will be remembered for the love and compassion she showed to animals of all kinds. She loved spending time in her garden and will be remembered for her nurturing spirit.
She is survived by her life partner, Pedro Cooke, her sons, Bryan Clark and Jason Francis McLeod, both of Sumter, SC, brother Joseph McLeod of Sumter, SC, and sister Corrie Bolen of Lexington, SC.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Vicky Morgan.
She will be greatly missed by all those who know and love her.
