Gary Steven Thomas

Sumter, SC .......... Gary Steven Thomas, age 71, beloved husband of 45 years to Maria Louise Centofanti Thomas, died on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at his residence.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ, he was the son of the late John Thomas and Kay Pacyna Thomas.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, Brother and friend.

In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by two sons, Jason Thomas and wife Kylie of Dalzell, SC, and Michael Thomas and wife Trisha of Sumter; a daughter, Dawn Irvine and husband Marc of Sumter; two sisters, Cathy Argese and husband John, and Donna Kukla, both of Greenville, SC; seven grandchildren, Dakota Luysterborg, Carmen Thomas, Tanner Thomas, Sydney Thomas, Jaiden Irvine, Addyson Thomas, and Taryn Irvine, and three great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
