Jeannie J. Tisdale May 28, 1946- May 25, 2023
Sumter, SC. Geannie Johnson Tisdale, age 76, beloved wife of the late Donald Leroy
Tisdale, died on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Prisma Health Tuomey.
Born in Sumter, SC to the late Jerimiah and Bertha Johnson, Geannie was employed as a manager at Johnson’s Cleaners.
She enjoyed her time as a nurse’s aide at various nursing homes and hospitals, as well as Sunday School at her church, Grace Baptist, which she loyally attended as a member for many years. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Lee Morgan (Tracy), and her daughter Dee Miller, of Sumter, her brother Doug Johnson (Betty) of Auburn GA, her sister Janice Just (Andy) of Portland Oregon; three grandchildren: Brittany Moore (Brandon), Savannah Morgan (Austin), Bradley Miller; and four great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at 2:00PM-4:00PM at the Grace Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity Grace Baptist Church, or the SPCA of Sumter.
The family has chosen Bullock Funeral Home for their arrangements.
