Sumter, SC….Gloria Jean Sikora McLeod, age 83, beloved wife of the late Richard Laverne McLeod, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at home.
Gloria was born in La Belle, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Stephen Sikora and the late Julia Rose Rockar Sikora. She found joy in tending her yard, raising her children, and caring for the pets she loved so dearly. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend; someone whose kindness and love touched everyone around her. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew and cherished her.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Renee Geddings, and her husband, David, of Sumter; her brother, Stephen Sikora, and his wife, Dee, of Delaware; her sister, Eleanor Massini, of Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Jerry Jason Hardee, Jr., and Mary Beth Hardee.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son Richard Lee McLeod II, MD.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 4:00-6:00 pm at the daughter’s residence.
