Inga Karena (Ellefson) Olesen

Sumter, SC…Inga Karena Ellefson Olesen, age 81, beloved wife of the late Thomas Bryant Olesen, died on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey.

Born in Bawlf, Alberta, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Axel Ellefson and Gertrude Heugen Ellefson. Mrs. Olesen was a dedicated waitress and worked for many years at both Sunset Country Club and Big Jim’s Restaurant. She loved animals, especially her cats.

Surviving are: two daughters, Beverley Olesen of Sumter and Debra Geddings and her husband Ricky of Greenville, one son, Thomas W. Olesen and Kathleen of Kansas; three grandchildren, Tessa Geddings, Jason Geddings, and Mary Geddings Fennell; eleven great grandchildren, Cierra Slagle, Aubrey Morgan, Braden and Caleb Geddings, Cory, Chandler, Clint, Chance, and Cheyenne Trammell, Alyssa Fennell and Kane Houston; and two great grandchildren, Ansleigh and Aniya Barton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Elizabeth Geddings.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.
