James William Kittrell

Sumter, SC…… James W. Kittrell, age 45, beloved husband to Melissa Kittrell, died on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC. He was born in Charleston, SC on June 15, 1979. He was a great husband, father, and son who loved to spend time outdoors.

In addition to his wife, Melissa Kittrell, James is survived by his children, Clayton Kittrell, Travis Kittrell, James D. Kittrell, Ethan Gardner, Andrew Kittrell; his mother, Linda Kay Evans Kittrell, his father, Rodney Jerome Kittrell and brother RJ Kittrell and his wife, Jami, and sister Sandra Walton and her husband, Anthony as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.  

He was loved and cherished by all who knew him. He touched many hearts and will be deeply missed.
