Jamie Allan Barkley

Sumter, SC…… Jamie Allan Barkley passed away on June 6, 2024.

Jamie was born in Timmonsville, SC the son of Meredith Marie Miles Smith and the late Carl Delaine Barkley.

Jamie will be remembered for his sense of humor, his warm heart, and his unwavering love for his family. Jamie was known for his hard work and spent his time working in robotics. He enjoyed his time with the people he had the privilege to work with. Jamie always pushed the people he loved to their hardest. No matter what he had he could always make a delicious meal for his family.

Surviving are his children, Shelton Blake Harris of Sumter, Steven Miles Barkley of Sumter, and Hannah Marie Barkley of Goldsboro, NC.  One Brother Kevin Joseph Barkley of Sumter, and his sister Melissa Dawn Gurney of Sumter along with his beloved grandchildren; Sheldon, Legend, and King.

Services will be private.
