Jeffery T Lessard

Dalzell, SC ….. Jeffery Thomas Lessard, age 56, beloved husband of 21 years to Penny Renee Nickles Lessard, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021, at his residence.

Born in Mountain Home, Idaho, he was the son of Judith K. Penke Lessard and the late Henry Thomas Lessard.  Jeffery spent his whole adult life as an auto mechanic.  He was known for his engine building and built engines for many people in the Sumter community.  He was a very giving and compassionate man who loved to share his talents and skills with his nephew and others.  He enjoyed his cars, racing, hunting. Fishing and telling stories.  His true joy in life came from spending time with his family.  He will be remembered as a very loving husband father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by; a son, Adam Ledbetter and his wife Samantha of Virginia; a daughter, Dana Lessard of Tennessee; two brothers, Michael Lessard and his wife Jamie of Dalzell and Timothy Lessard and Stephanie of Tennessee; a special nephew, Jacob Lessard of Dalzell and five grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris McMillian officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
