Jeffrey Wayne Hiles

Jeffrey Wayne Hiles, age 65, beloved husband of more than 16 years to Robin Lynnette Collins Hiles, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Jeffrey was born in Newark, Ohio, a son of the late Arthur Hiles and the late Dolores Olive Powers Hiles. Jeffrey came to Sumter in 1993 and began his career at Sumter Chrysler as an automotive mechanic. He took great pride in his work and truly enjoyed helping others. Known for his generous spirit and giving nature, he touched many lives through simple acts of kindness. In his free time, Jeffrey loved being outdoors and cherished the companionship of his boxer, Abby Lynn. To those who knew him, he was a devoted husband and a loyal friend. Jeffrey will be remembered for his warm heart and loving spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Robin Lynnette Hiles; his sister, Melissa Giuffre of Florida; two nieces, Trina Farley of Florida, and Natalie Williams of Montana; a nephew, Tyler Powers of Ohio; and other nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Arthur Hiles, Gene Hiles, and Mark Adams.

At the family's request, there will be no services.
