Joseph Marion Croft

Sumter, SC…… Joseph “Joey” Marion Croft, age 52, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Born in Sumter, SC, he was the son of Sandra Osborne Croft and Mark Croft and his wife Debra.  Joey was a fun loving and caring man who was known to be a free spirit.  He loved to have fun and make people laugh.  Joey enjoyed traveling to new places and seeking new adventures.  He was highly intelligent and very gifted at so many things.  He was an excellent automotive mechanic, a good carpenter, and was very skilled with computers and technology.  He loved his children more than anything and was so excited that he was a soon to be grandfather.

Surviving to cherish his memory are a daughter, Olivia Croft and her companion, Daniel Bratton of Sumter, SC; a son, Joseph C. Croft of Sumter; three brothers, Mark Croft of Sumter, Jamie Croft of Tennessee, and Kaitlin Croft of Sumter;    a sister, Melissa Croft McIntosh of Wedgefield; a future granddaughter, Daisy Mae, due in June; the mother of his children, Kimberly Janeice Henson-Morgan of Sumter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday May 24, 2024, from 5:00-6:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 6:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Pressley Officiating.
