Joseph Henry Patton

Joseph “Joey” Henry Patton was born on August 23, 1985 in Fort Worth, TX. He passed away in his home in Lexington, SC on October 16, 2021. He was 36 years old. 

Joey is survived by his loving parents, Henry Patton and Joyce Levings, and their spouses, Loriann and Rickey, respectively. He also leaves behind his siblings, Stephanie (Brandon) Stankiewicz, Steven Patton, and Dylan Levings. He left other pieces of himself in this world that were always in his heart. If you ever find your way here, know that you have family waiting to welcome you with open arms (Christian, Eddie, and Emma Kate).

Joey’s chosen family was just as large and significant as his biological family. He was a man that loved and spoke with his whole heart and being. He touched so many lives in so many different ways and he was loved beyond measure by many. It didn’t matter if he had fully pissed you off, you could never stay mad at him. He was quick to drop everything if you needed him and could pick you up when you were at your lowest. He was goofy and silly and could make anyone laugh, even on their worst day. He was gentle and sensitive and so very caring. He was a protector. He gave the absolute best hugs. 

There is an enormous hole in so many hearts due to your passing, Joey. I hope you know how much you were loved and how many lives you impacted during your short time here on this Earth. We will all miss and love you forever.
