Judith Marion (Parsons) High

Sumter, SC … Judith Marion Parson High, age 79, beloved wife of the late James O. High, Sr., passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Prisma Health Tuomey.

Born and raised in Chelmsford, England, she was the daughter of the late Edward Parsons and Winifred Parsons.  Judith was a faithful member of Faith Outreach Assembly Church.  She was a hard worker and owned and operated Professional Message Center for over 35 years.  Judith was proud of her dual citizenship of both England and the United States.  Her true joy in life came from her family especially her grandchildren.  She will be remembered as a very loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by; three sons, James O. High, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Cayce, Kendal Lamar High and his wife Kim of Sumter and Carl P. Jensen and his wife Tammy of Sumter; eleven grandchildren, Sean Jensen, James O. High III, Samuel M. High, Michael F. High, Matthew W. High, Ann Elizabeth Fatum, Joshua Jones, Isaiah Jones, James Jones, Veronica Richardson and Rachel Lee; nine great grandchildren, Dalton Jensen, Jayson Jensen, Sophie High, Layla High, Jaylen Pringle, Jerimiah Pringle, Journey Pringle, Blake Jensen and Chandler Jensen,

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Raymond L. High and a grandson, C.J. Jensen.

A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Sumter Cemetery with Rev. Betty Gainey officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
