Kellie Berry Barkley

Sumter, SC……………………….. Kellie Berry Barkley, age 62, died on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024 at her home.

Kellie was born in Indiana, a daughter of the late John Milton Berry and Mottie Jeanette Touchberry. She loved gardening, especially tomatoes and enjoyed trips to the mountains.

Survivors are: Two sons, Kenneth Thigpen of Columbia, SC, and Dylan Berry and his wife Zeena of Wahiawa, HI; Three daughters, Stacy Marsh and her husband Ryan of Sumter, SC, Nikki Lighthill and her husband Chris of Sumter, SC, and Emily Patel and her husband Koda of Manning, SC; twelve grandchildren, Keith, Dylan, Jaiden, Harmony, Kole, Gracie, Brelynn, Camryn, Jacob, Beckham, Rory and one on the way; and four great-grandchildren, Lakelyn, Taylor, Amira and Lily Grace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl Barkley; a brother, Kenneth Berry; and a sister, Elizabeth "Beth" Foxworth. 

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 26th, 2024, from 4:00-6:00pm, at Bullock Funeral Home.
