Sumter, SC....Lee Edward Westerman-Evans, age 36, beloved husband of Jeremy Evans, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Prisma Health Richland.
Lee was born in Myrtle Beach, SC, a son of Thomas Russell Westerman Sr. and the late Cheryl Lee. Lee will be remembered as a man with a warm and generous spirit, whose kindness knew no bounds. He spoke his mind with confidence and had a keen sense of humor and style that reflected his love for fashion. Above all, his heart belonged to his family, and he took immense pride in his daughter, Ja’Kiera, and all of his nieces and nephews. His legacy is one of love, pride, and authenticity. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his husband, Jeremy Evans; his daughter, Ja’Kiera Evans; his brother, Travis Russell Westerman, and his wife, Michele of Florida; all of his friends, especially Doris Gerow and Sharon Thames; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Doris Evans, and a nephew, Ty Westerman.
A memorial service will be held at Bullock Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.
