Linda Jean Adams

Sumter, SC…. Linda Jean Adams, age 71, beloved wife of 52 years to James Paul Adams, died on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey.

Linda was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Kenneth Hoffman and Anna May Haas Hoffman. She was a member of High Hills Church of the Santee. She loved doing arts and crafts and socializing with her friends.  Her favorite activity was watching her granddaughter play volleyball, she almost never missed a game. Linda will be remembered as a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters; Alicia Lynn Tallent and her husband David of Darlington, and Alexis Marie Shook and her significant other, Paul Racicot of Sumter; her grandchildren, Amber Michele Tallent, Brandon Shook and Julia Racicot; her special friend Peggy Racicot, and her beloved canine companion, Cooper.

She is preceded in death by her sisters; Mary Jane Dautrich and Joan Douglass.
