Sumter, SC …. Marilyn Sue Batchlor Wooten,age 73, beloved wife of 54 years to Donald Daril Wooten, died on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the Regency Hospital of Florence.

Born in Dowagiac, MI, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Batchlor and Eleanor Sly Bachlor. Marilyn enjoyed bowling, playing golf and working with ceramics. She will be remembered as a very loving wife, mother grandmother, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by; a son, Donald Daril Wooten, Jr. of Dallas, TX; a brother, Clifford Batchlor, Jr.(Diane) of Pheonix, AZ; two sisters, Fannie Viola Gross and Bonnie Blackwell; a son-in-law, William Todd Dillon; a grandson, Michael Todd Dillon and special friends, Frederick and Mary Strohm, Wanda Wright, Paul and Carolyn Pollard and Earl & Debbie Jones.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
