Mary Patricia (Player) Egly

Murfreesboro, TN……………… Mary Patricia Egly, age 78, beloved wife of Roger Egly, died on Monday, August 18th, 2025 at her home.

Mrs. Egly was the daughter of the late Elwood Player and Annie Mae Player. She served in the U.S. Air Force and later obtained a nursing degree. She worked with Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN in security. She was an avid hockey fan, Alan Jackson and country music.

Surviving in addition to her husband are: Two sisters, Nancy Carolyn Storm and her husband Dale of Asheville, NC, and P.J. Hodge of Sumter, SC.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with follow military honors will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
