Sumter, SC…..Mary Louise Smith Roarick, age 82, beloved wife of the late Richard Dean Roarick, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at her home.
Mary was born in Logan, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Roy Wilsom Smith and the late Mamie Fox Smith. She was predeceased by her brothers Roy Smith Jr, Robert Smith, Taylor Smith and her sister Delores Cole.
Left behind to honor her memory are her daughter, Deborah Ann Roarick Hollaway, and two grandchildren, Andrew Hollaway and Benjamin Hollaway. Her sisters Linda Farmer and Sharon Fowler and her brothers Challis Smith and Delbert Smith.
Inurnment will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 3:00 pm for both Mary Louise Smith Roarick and Richard Dean Roarick at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
