Sumter, SC ….. Melisa Gayle Horne, age 42, beloved fiancée of Joseph A. Wisman, died on Friday, May 6, 2022, at her residence.
Born in Dallas, TX, she was the daughter of the late Roger Lamar Horne and Vickie A. Tucker Horne. Melisa attended Promise Land Ministries. She will be remembered as a loving fiancée, mother, sister, and grandmother.
In addition to her fiancé Joseph, she is survived by three children, Justin J. Horne and his fiancée Ashley, Sabastian D. Mitchum and Alyssa Horne and her fiancé Brandon Katz; special adopted son, Owen Floyd; three brothers, Matthew Horne and his wife Samantha, Marty Horne and his wife Kristy and Darby Tucker; three sisters, Melinda Horne of Sumter, Tracy Bentley and her husband James of Summerville and Dana Horne Hill and her husband Adam of Sumter; three grandchildren, Lillian, Elijah and Wyatt and lifelong friend, Natalie Thames.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Horne.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 11:30am at Green Acres Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Barnett officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Bullock Funeral Home.
