Sumter, SC..... Nadine White Berry, age 87, beloved wife of the late Winford Loyd Berry, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at her residence.
Born in Pineville, LA, she was the daughter of the late Elton “Jack” White and Pauline Hammons White. Nadine was a strong woman of faith. She was grateful for all of God’s abundant blessings. She was member of Sumter Baptist Temple and loved her church family. Nadine dedicated her life to supporting and loving her husband and children. She will be remembered as a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and a wise counsellor. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Nadine is survived by a son, Jeffery Berry and wife Angela of Belleville, IL; two daughters, Debra Beaver and husband Johnny of Flat Rock, NC, and Donna Myles and husband Russ of Sumter, SC; five sisters, Geraldine Wiley of Pineville, LA, Sue Alford of Mt. Herman, LA, Kerry Sumner of Natchitoches, LA, Delores Lankster of Many, LA, and Abigail Prinzivilla of Brooklyn, NY; eight grandchildren, Kimberly VonAlmen, Kellie Moore, Bradley Berry, Scott Berry, Cody Berry, Rachel Berry, Mattison Beaver, and Christopher Beaver, and seven great grandchildren, Ellen VonAlmen, Sadie Louise VonAlmen, Claire Berry, Hanna Berry, Mason Berry, Emma Berry, and Sutton Sexton.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is proceeded in death by three brothers, Ray White, Travis White, and Michael White and one sister, Claudie Nelle.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, one hour prior to the service, from 2:00-3:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 3:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.
A private inurnment will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery with her husband.
