Pamela Jones Kendrick

Sumter, SC… Pamela Jones Kendrick, age 63, died on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Prisma Health Tuomey.

Born in Sumter, SC, she was the daughter of the late Luther Emanuel “L.E.” Jones and Betty Justice Jones.  Pam worked as a media specialist in both High Hills Elementary and Chestnut Oaks Middle Schools, retiring in 2022.  She was also presently working at Prisma Health Tuomey as a unit secretary, which she has done for many years.  Pam was a faithful and longtime member of Bethesda Church of God.  She loved all animals, especially her canine companions.  Her true joy in life came from spending time with her family and friends.  She will be remembered as a very loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving to cherish her memory are a son, Brendan Kendrick and his wife Hannah of Florence, SC; a daughter, Kylie Baer and her husband Luke of St. Clair, MO; two sisters, Kim Linville, and Cindy Clark; two grandchildren, Olivia Kendrick and Rocco Baer, and her four beloved canines, Romeo, Mellie, Mindy, and Sophie.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a special Aunt, Virginia Mims.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. H. Albert Sims officiating.  The interment will follow the service in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
