Patricia (Aboussleman) Brooke

Patricia Aboussleman Brooke, age 77, beloved wife, of 33 years to Barry Raiford Brooke, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Aboussleman and Minnie Lee Horton Aboussleman.  Patricia was very active in the Red Hats Society, she was the Queen of the Sassy But Classy Carolina Girls and was an active member of the Newcomers Club.  Patricia was an avid card player and enjoyed quilting, however her true joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She will be remembered as a very devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Surviving to cherish her memory, in addition to her husband, are a son, Tommy Jones and his wife Jennifer, of Atlanta, Ga; a daughter, Kasey Barton and her husband Kevin of Bremen, GA; a brother, Jerry Aboussleman and his wife Janet of Lawrenceville, GA, and five grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith, Courtney Smith, Chloe Smith, Caleb Smith, and Keighlyn Barton.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Aboussleman, and two brothers, Joe Aboussleman and Mike Aboussleman.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 5:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 4:00-5:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
