Paul Thomas Myers

Dalzell, SC….. Paul Thomas Myers, age 59, beloved husband of 18 years to Susan Ann Napier Myers, died on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center.

Paul was born in Vineland, New Jersey, son of the late Robert Charles Myers and Barbara Francis Bowman Myers. He served in the Marines for 20 years and worked as a police officer for 10 years in Anne-Arundel County, Maryland. Paul never met a stranger and loved people; he would talk to anyone. He enjoyed going to yard sales and spending time at auctions. He also enjoyed kayaking, fishing, shooting guns and racing RC cars. Paul will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, son, son-in-law and uncle. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Surviving are his daughters, Crystal Dowd and her husband Charles  of Maryland, Cynthia Bachman and her husband Michael, Sr. of Maryland, Cathleen Goan and Keith Via of Maryland; his brother Robert Myers and his wife Sally  of Elgin; four sisters; Carolyn Jacobs of Sumter, Shirley Peterson and her husband Bill  of New Jersey, Nancy Ryan and her husband Phil of New Jersey, and Holly Parr and her husband Tom  of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Michael Bachman Jr, CJ Dowd, Chandler Bachman, Allison Dowd, Kaitlyn Metzger, Emmalee Bachman, and Cody Smith; and brothers in law, John and Bill Napier;  as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and his two special companions, Angel and Ginger.

A Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
