Sumter, S.C. ……Peter Richard Pecchia, age 65, beloved brother and father, died on September 25, 2024, at his home.
Peter was born in Astoria, New York, the son of the late John Paul Pecchia and Jacquelline Milici Pecchia. After high school he would go on to serve in the US Navy. Peter enjoyed sports and collecting sports memorabilia. He will be remembered as a loving brother and father with a big heart who will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.
Surviving are his son, Richard Pecchia of New York; his brother, John P. Pecchia and his wife Debra of Indiana; his sister Mary Pecchia of New York; and brothers, Paul Pecchia of New York, and Christopher Pecchia and his wife Sandra of New York; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Anthony Pecchia.
