Across your area, an individual impersonating a funeral home employee is contacting families and demanding payment over the phone. Please know that we will never call you and ask for payment over the phone. Do not give the caller your information or money! Hang up and call the police. And if you're ever unsure about anything to do with your loved one, please call the funeral home and speak with your funeral director.

Rebecca “Lynn” Bridges, 63, of Sumter, South Carolina went home to be with Jesus on December 4, 2024. She passed away from natural causes at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
Born on April 6, 1961, Lynn was known for her big heart and unwavering faith. Her profound devotion to her family and God will be remembered by her husband of 41 years, Ron Bridges, her beloved children Tony Bridges and Christy Pritchard, Christy’s husband Darrell, and their two children, Jaime and Aran, as well as her sister Ann Bass and brother Ricky Smith.
She joins in death her father James Worley, her mother Norma Worley, and her sister, Sandra McNeely.
Lynn loved her family fiercely and looked forward to celebrating Christmas with them every year, watching Hallmark movies and baking cookies to share with her neighbors. An influential woman of faith, Lynn was a member of First Baptist Church Sumter. She spoke daily with the Lord and loved to study the Bible. Together in ministry, she and Ron had been sharing their insight and faith serving the residents of National HealthCare Sumter.
In her youth, Lynn excelled in school and then served in the Air National Guard for six years. As a mother, Lynn committed her time, energy, and an abundance of love to her children, advocating for and supporting them; she always wanted the best for them. She was devoted to her husband, loved her family, was passionate about her interests, and had a tender, kind heart. Her warm hugs and welcoming spirit will be missed by many.
The funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church Sumter on Monday, December 9th with visitation at 1:00 p.m. and service at 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
