Rita Ann (Neutzling) Davis

Sumter, SC .... Rita Ann Neutzling Davis, age 85, beloved wife of the late Jerry M. Davis, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Solomons Home in Sumter, SC.

Rita was born in Pomeroy, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Rolland and Helen Neutzling.

Our beloved son, Craig left this world far too soon, leaving his wife, Robin and two children, Brittany Adkins (Mike) of Mooresville, NC and Christopher Davis (Victoria) of Chandler, AZ, and a great grandson, Joshua Adkins.  I love my Josh!  Additional survivors are, a nephew, R.E. Neutzling, a niece, Traci Mehalic and numerous additional nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband and son, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bill and sister-in-law Carol.

Rita enjoyed being close to family and friends.  She loved playing cards at the South Hope Center twice a week, or as often as she could work a few games in.  Her happiest place was at the beach.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 12:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Laura Whitt officiating.

The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 11:00-12:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
