Ronald A D'Anella

Sumter, SC … Ronald A. D’Anella, age 82, beloved husband of the late Judith Gail DAnella, died on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at his residence.

Born in the Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Emil D’Anella and Jenny Brienza DAnella. Mr. D’Anella served his country in the US Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant. He was owner and proprietor of DeMara's Italian Restaurant. He enjoyed playing golf, eating food and socializing with people. He was a member of the Sumter Elk’s Club. Mr. D’Anella will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Surviving are: one son, Thomas D’Anella of Sumter, SC; two daughters, Laura Danella Duggan and her husband Gary of Sumter, SC; and Tammie Sugar and her husband Kevin of Valdosta, GA; one sister, Judy Acierno and her husband Tony of Sunrise, FL; and one grandson Gary Duggan, Jr. of Sumter, SC.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home with full military honors beginning at 300 pm.
