Sara Lee Duffy Reames

Sara Lee Duffy Reames, age 75, beloved wife of 29 years to the late Walter P. Reames, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at her residence.

Sara was born in MacDill AFB, Florida, a daughter of the late Kenneth F. Duffy and the late Sara Elizabeth Robbins Duffy. She was a devoted member of First United Pentecostal Church. Sara found joy in sewing, crocheting, and knitting, and she cherished her two Yorkie mixes, Peanut and Ewok. Known for her generous spirit, she often opened her home to anyone in need. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her kindness touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Stephenie L. Hayes, and her husband Michael, of Tennessee; her son, Patrick S. Reames and his girlfriend, Jennifer Hunter; her brother Michael Duffy and his wife Carmela of Greenville; her sisters, Rita Langland and her husband Lars and Eileen Bernard and her husband Michael; her grandchildren, Daniel McAlister, James Rogers, Jonathan Rogers, Nathaniel Hayes, Catherine Hayes, Victoria Hayes.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Ken Duffy and Doug Duffy.
