Woodrow, SC…………………….. Sheila Nell Childs, age 64, longtime companion of 14 years to Raymond Wilson, died on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
Ms. Childs was born in Starkville, MS, a daughter of the late Charles Reed and Audrey Janell Stallings Worsham. Sheila worked on Shaw AFB as a civilian contractor, at DOT in Manning, and the Sumter County Career and Technology Center. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors are: One daughter, Brooke Foster of Jackson, MS; One brother, Shane Reed; One sister, Rhonda Egan and her husband James F. of Sumter, SC; and two grandchildren, Adeline and Audrey.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, September 24th, 2024 at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Lessard, Michael Lessard, Gavin Foxworth, Chris Foxworth, Clint Egan, and Ryan Moore.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00am to 12:00pm, Tuesday, September 24th, 2024 at Bullock Funeral Home.
