Shirley Jean Weimer

Sumter, SC…Shirley Jean Weimer, age 89, beloved wife of the late Kenneth E. Weimer, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021.

Born at Bellevue Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Howard L. Glaser and Mollie Gradop Glaser. Shirley was employed at Mellon Bank as a Corporate Trust and Tax advisor and spent her summers relaxing at her lake house in Van Buren Bay, New York.

Surviving are: three children, Kimberley Weimer of Fort Myers FL, Debra (Charles “Taz”) Watkins of Venice FL, and Kenneth (Julie) Weimer, Jr. of Sumter SC; four grandchildren, Kenneth (Kristie)Weimer III of Delmar NY, Katelyn (Andrew) Swantek of Niceville FL, Daniel (Julia) Weimer of Hendersonville NC, and Alyssa Weimer of Charleston SC; six great grandchildren, Sophia Weimer, Nathan Weimer, Eliza Weimer, Olivia Swantek, Callum Weimer, a Swantek great grandchild due in Jan 2022; and one sister, Joann Winslow of Pittsburgh PA.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 and Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Bullock Funeral Home. Please check with the Funeral Home for viewing times.
