Stewart Edward Schnur

Sumter, SC .......... Stewart Edward Schnur, age 73 beloved husband of the late Linda Church Schnur, died on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Palmetto Health Tuomey.

Born in Marysville, CA. He was the son of the late Edward Stewart Schnur and Grace Catherine Schnur. He was a faithful Gospel Minister for over 45 years, currently serving as Minister of Plaza Church of Christ. Stewart loved spending time with his family and will be remembered as a very loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by three daughters: Carol Leonard and her husband Brian, Cathy Bryant and her husband Chris all of Lexington, SC, and Stephanie Crawford and her husband Nick of Jacksonville, FL; seven grandchildren: Gracie and Lindsey Leonard, Reagan, Tyler and Sarah Bryant, and Caitlin and Baylee Crawford and a sister, Valerie Schnur of Florence, Kentucky.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 5:00 pm at the Plaza Church of Christ with Harry Davis officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 26, 2017, two hours prior to the service from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at Plaza Church of Christ.
