Across your area, an individual impersonating a funeral home employee is contacting families and demanding payment over the phone. Please know that we will never call you and ask for payment over the phone. Do not give the caller your information or money! Hang up and call the police. And if you're ever unsure about anything to do with your loved one, please call the funeral home and speak with your funeral director.

Greenville, SC …. Tanya Lynne Dorak , age 32, entered into eternal rest with our lord and savior on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
Tanya loved with everything she had, she loved her family, her pets and her friends, her smile was contagious, and her hugs were so warm and genuine. Her family is going to miss her so much. We know she is no longer in pain her mind and body are free.
Tanya was an exceptionally sweet, kind, loving, and giving person. She never met a stranger. She cared very deeply for her family, & friends, & her family pets, Moose, Toby, Willow and Oliver.
From a very young age she discovered she loved to read. Tanya has always loved to be at the beach, loved to swim, and collect seashells. She enjoyed cooking and baking and sharing recipes. Tanya enjoyed being outdoors in the garden, she would take long walks, do yoga and meditation for relaxation. She also learned how to ride a motorcycle; she loved the freedom it allowed. One of her favorite places to visit since moving to Greenville SC, was Falls Park on the Reedy, she would get a cup of hot tea from one of the cafe's downtowns, have a good book, or podcast, sometimes bring her hammock and would spend hours enjoying the beautiful park and nature. Her mother who brought her to the park for her first time will visit the park and bring her back for the last time and scatter some of Tanya's ashes into the waterfalls, she will forever be connected to the place she found some of her favorite moments. She enjoyed her job at Discover Fresh of Easly SC. as a line operator.
Tanya was an organ and blood donor. Just a few months ago after her latest blood donation she was able to track the blood to a hospital in GA, she was very pleased and proud she was able to save a life, she was a true blessing to others.
Please consider becoming a donor through the Red Cross, to honor her for always wanting to take care of others.
She is survived by her mother, Vicki Dorak of Dalzell SC; her father Patrick Dorak of Mertztown PA, grandma Vicky Hopkins of NJ two aunts, Kym Stanichar (Eddie) of NJ and Beth Wagner (Robert) of NJ; two uncles, Bobby Hopkins (Sandra) of SC and Sammy of SC and her partner Levie Jesse Johnson of Greenville SC.
She is predeceased in death by her grandfather, Bob Hopkins, her grandparents Rose, and Ralph Porter of FL.
November's Butterfly
Sometimes in November
When the sun is sitting high
A warm Fall breeze will steal the leaves
And cause the trees to cry
Sometimes in November
A butterfly will appear
A cherished thought, a battle fought
For one you loved so dear
Sometimes in November
A daughter will pass away
You wallow in grief, seek relief
And then you learn to pray
Sometimes in November
An angel gets its wings
It's good and bad but always sad
Both joy and pain this brings
Sometimes in November
A family must say goodbye
As Heaven awaits to open its gates
To November's butterfly
There will be no services at this time.
