Dalzell, SC…………… Thomas “Tom” David Wesloskie, beloved husband of 55 years to Judith Ann Herb Wesloskie, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.
Mr. Wesloskie was born in Springfield, MA, a son of the late Thomas John Wesloskie and Jessie Spafford Longo. He retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service and later served 21 years in civil service. He was past Master of the Hilcrest Masonic Lodge in Dalzell and a Noble of Jamil Shriners. Before passing, Tom was a teacher’s aide at Pierce Pierce Terrance Elementary School on Fort Jackson Army base. He loved being with the children and they loved Mr. Wes. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Cross and attended the Church of the Ascension, Hagood. Tom was loved by his family and will be dearly missed.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: Two daughters, Karen Parsons and her husband Fred of Presque Isle, ME, and Angela Cullins and her husband Allan of Moncks Corner, SC; Three grandsons, Zachary Hammond of Fort Fairfield, ME, Cameron Cullins of Moncks Corner, SC and Clayton Cullins of Moncks Corner, SC; One granddaughter, Hailey Hammond of Washburn, ME; Three brothers, Robert Wesloskie and his wife Kathy of Aristes, PA, James Wesloskie and his wife Celilia of Elysbury, PA, and Edward Wesloskie and his wife Judy of Lanesville, IN; One sister, Carol Ann MacDonald of Calgary, Albert, Canada; Nine nephews and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 4th, 2024 at 12:00pm at the Church of the Ascension, Hagood, with Father Joel Osborne and Father Michael Ridgill officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00am-12:00pm, Monday, November 4th, 2024 at the Church of the Ascension, Hagood.
