Timothy "Rick" Ricky Browder, Jr.

Sumter, SC……Timothy "Rick" Ricky Browder, Jr., age 46, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Rick was born in Sumter, SC, a son of Timothy Ricky Browder, Sr. and Vivian Yarborough Browder. Rick enjoyed racing cars, playing darts, and watching his favorite movie, Talladega Nights. He worked proudly as a tow truck driver and was deeply dedicated to his job. Above all else, Rick loved God and faithfully attended A.R.C. Church in Manning, South Carolina. He will be remembered for his loving and caring spirit as a son, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Rick touched many lives with his kindness and warmth, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Timothy Browder, III, Ethan Samuel Browder, and Tyler Brice Browder; his daughters, Sarah Lacey Browder, Emmalee Brooke Browder, Kierstin Lynn Anderson and her husband, Ransom, Addison Elaine Browder, and Maranda Nicole Browder; his brother, Michael Travis Browder; his grandchildren, McKinley Paige Browder, and Ransom Davey Job Anderson; numerous nephews; and his special friends, Jackie Clemmons, and his wife Joy, and Jody Taylor and his wife Amanda, as well as a slew of friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Jewel Smith Browder.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 pm at Green Acres Assembly of God.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Green Acres Assembly of God.

Interment will follow the service at Green Acres Assembly of God Cemetery.
