Warren A. Henderson, Jr.

Kingsport, TN .......... Warren “Dubby” Henderson Jr, age 72, died on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Born in Barnwell, SC, and raised in Sumter, SC, Mr. Henderson was the son of the late W. A. Henderson, Sr., and Shirley Jones Henderson.  He spent most of his adult life traveling the country as a long-distance truck driver. He loved to fish, watch NASCAR, Reality TV & Clemson football.

Surviving are his children: Cory (Rachael) Henderson, Brandy (Drew) Mayes, and Coleman Rabon; his sister, Tammiann Henderson; six grandchildren: Stormi Marsh, Courtney Henderson, Michael Henderson, Sarah Lawrence, AJ Mayes, and Hazel Mayes; four great-grandchildren: Michael Henderson Jr., Jesse Henderson, Levi Marsh, and Liam Cheung, and his niece & caregiver Ashliann Norton.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Chris Lawrence.

 A visitation will be held on Friday, December 12. 2025, from 11:00 – 12:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.

A graveside interment service will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Sumter Cemetery with Rev. Sammy Geddings officiating.
