William Cecil Lusk

Sumter, SC…William Cecil Lusk, affectionately known as "Pee Wee" or “Pete", age 76, beloved husband of 48 years to Jessie Dority Lusk, died on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at his residence.

Born in Walhalla, he was the son of the late Jimmy Lusk and Annie Mae Wilbanks Lusk. Mr. Lusk retired from Bridges Construction Company. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed going to the lakes and rivers. He attended Walkers Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

In addition to his wife Jessie, he is survived by two sons, Ervin W. Boykin and his wife Amanda of Wateree and Carl E. Boykin and his wife Lynette of Sumter; two daughters, Theressa Hiles and her husband Gene of Wedgefield and Nancy L. Meares and her friend Darren of Sumter; one brothers, Roger Lusk and his wife Jenny of Walhalla; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Sumter Cemetery with the Rev. Nathaniel Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to service on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 11:30am-12:30 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
