Carol Jean (Massey) Seech

Sumter, SC…Carol Jean Massey Seech, age 76, beloved wife of the late John Richard Seech, died on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Palmetto Health Tuomey in Sumter.

Born in Kinston, NC she was the daughter of the late Raymond Massey and Bettie Stallings Massey. Mrs. Seech was the owner/operator of several Curtis Mathes stores in Sumter, Columbia, and Orangeburg.

Surviving are: two children, Patrick A. Seech of Sumter, and Susan Seech Colanduno of Atlanta, GA; one grandson, Zane S. Seech of Sumter; two brothers, Levi Massey and Jerry Massey; four sisters, Diane Andrews, Peggy Price, Frances Turnage, and Sandra Jones all of North Carolina.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Noble.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held in the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery on Monday, December 24, 2018 at 1:00 pm.

The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the Service, on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
