Catherine Jean Schneider

Sumter, SC……Catherine Jean Robinson Schneider, beloved wife of ten years to John Schneider, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Catherine was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, a daughter to the late William Robinson and Susan Hudson Robinson. Catherine grew up in the military and loved to travel and had an adventurous nature. She will be remembered as a kind and supportive mother who always prioritized her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Stefanie Marie Murray and her husband Cameron of Jacksonville, Alabama, Emily Lauren Russell of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jillian Nicole Schneider of Columbia, South Carolina; her son, John Eric Schneider and his wife Anna of Monroe, Georgia; her brother, Steven Robinson; her sister, Donna Lutes; and her five grandchildren, Kynlee Russell, Jasper Russell, Asher Russell, Atticus Murray,  and Nicholas Schneider.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, William Robinson.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 2:00pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
