Daniel Joseph Beyer

Sumter, SC………………. Daniel Joseph Beyer, age 58, beloved husband of 16 years to Laura Barnette Beyer, passed away on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 at Prisma Health Richland.

Mr. Beyer was born in Milwaukee, WI, a son of the late Cletus David Beyer and Vivian Bowden Beyer. Dan loved to fish, watch sports especially the Green Bay Packers, and watch his son play baseball. He was also an animal lover & passionate cat rescuer.

Survivors in addition to his wife are: One son, Aidan Joshua Beyer of Sumter, SC; One brother, Mark Beyer and his husband Ray Smith of Sunnyvale, CA; Two sisters, Kathy Beyer-Paulson of Punta Gorda, FL, and Wendy Boedecker and her husband Richard of Milwaukee, WI; and Two nieces, Linnea Beyer-Paulson and Sonja Beyer-Paulson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm, Monday, November 6th, 2023 at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Barnette officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00am-12:00pm, Monday, November 6th, 2023 at Bullock Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Windy Ridge Rescue, 36 Bland Ave., Sumter, SC or to the Sumter SPCA, 1140 S. Guignard Dr., Sumter SC 29150.
