Florence, SC….Guy Gabriel Shadoan, age 57, died on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at his residence.
Born in Rockville, MD, he was a son of Richard Talbot Shadoan and the late Lois Marie Brost Shadoan. Guy was and avid fisherman especially in Sparkleberry Swamp. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed working on cars and was a master of the grill. He even developed his own special bar-be-que sauce. Guy became a born again Christian and was passionate about reading and studying his bible before he started his day. He had a very large and loving family and his true joy in life was spending time with them as much as possible. He will be remembered as a very loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by; one son, Bryan Ozolins and his wife Stacy of Central, SC; five daughters, Mandy Huggins and her husband Justin of Scranton, Chasity Barrs and her husband Michael, Gabrielle Shadoan, Kaylee Shadoan and Angel Grace Shadoan, all of Sumter; six brothers, John Shadoan and his wife Leonica of Urbana, MD, Michael Shadoan and his wife Jeanne of Centerville, VA, William Shadoan and his wife Melissa of Sumter, Pete Shadoan and his wife Faye of Sumter, Paul Shadoan and his wife Penny of Sumter and Larry Shadoan of Greenville; six sisters, Claire Brown and her husband David of Dalzell, Annette Dey and her husband Michael of Sevron, MD, Jeannette Wells and her husband Mike of Mesa, AZ, Jackie Demarco and her husband Donnie of Silver Springs, MD, Julie Zalesky and her husband David of Douglasville, GA and Gloria Scott and her husband Sonny of Florence; four grandchildren, Gunner Ozolins, Josh Floyd, Dylan Floyd and Kyle Thompson; a companion, Tammy Ozolins of Sumter; a special friend, Fannie Mae Geddings of Sumter and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he is predeceased in death by; a brother, Patrick Shadoan and two nieces, Kayla Shadoan and Brittany Shadoan.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Bullock Funeral Home.
