Kendrick Edwards Burnett

Sumter, SC…Kendrick Edwards Burnett, age 65, died on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at his childhood home in Sumter, SC.

Born September 17, 1958, in Sumter, SC, He was the son of the late Edwin Burnett and Betty Burnett.  He was a mechanic for over 30 years, as well as a handy man. He loved his westerns, horses, camping, dogs and being an overall outdoor enthusiast. Most of all he loved his family and spending as much time with them as he could.

He is survived by one son, Jack Burnett of Spartanburg, SC; one daughter, Cassidy Frye (Taylor) of Sumter, SC; one brother, Win Burnett (Tina); one sister, Amy Weaver (Byron) of Sumter, SC; two grandchildren, Adeline and Aliza. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Joel Burnett.

A private service will be held at a later date.
