Marguerite Ann Munson

Sumter, SC…….. Marguerite “Peg” Ann Munson, age 84, beloved wife of the late James Dewey Munson passed away on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Ms. Munson was born in Petoskey, MI, a daughter of the late George J. Doherty and Marguerite Heidrick Doherty. Peg was a dedicated Christian who loved the Lord and served Him faithfully at Sumter Baptist Temple for 34 years.

She is survived by her sister, Janet Kloostra and her husband Martin of Grand Rapids, MI, and a sister in law, Joan Doherty.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, December 8th, 2023 at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny King, Rev. Eddie Richardson and the Rev. Mike Westmoreland officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00pm, Friday, December 8th, 2023 at Bullock Funeral Home.
