Sumter, SC... Marion Edward Clark, age 81, beloved wife of 50 years to Loretta Dale Clark, died on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Summerville, SC, he was the son of the late Matthew David Clark and Margaret Louise Clark. Mr. Clark was the owner and operator of Clark Painting Company. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and like to trade cars. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: two daughters, Sharon Harglerode and her husband James, and Stephanie Daggett and her husband Shawn; one son, Marion Stanley Clark all of Sumter; one sister, Matthew Clark and one sister, Francis Feaster both of Monks Corner; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Clint Edward Clark.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the Church of God of Prophecy, 722 Boulevard Road, Sumter.
