Priscilla Joyce Tomlinson Wadford

Sumter, SC ……. Priscilla “Joyce” Tomlinson Wadford, age 78, beloved wife of the late James Wadford, died on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at her daughter’s residence.

Born in Sumter County, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Bartow Tomlinson and Etta Mathis Tomlinson. Joyce retired from BD. She loved spending time outdoors cutting grass and was a huge fan of vanilla ice-cream. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister and grandmother.

Surviving are: two children, Duwayne Davee, Jr and his wife Macaley of Waxahachie, TX and Barbara Hodge and her husband Michael of Sumter; two sisters, Janet Turner of Florence and Judy James of Sumter; a sister-in-law, Saundra Tomlinson of Sumter and two grandchildren, Victoria Grace Hodge and Peighton Davee; her beloved dog, Tiny and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Ron Bower officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Bullock Fuenral Home.
