Ricky Kimball Bell

Ricky “Rick” Kimball Bell, 49, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2022, in Columbia, SC surrounded by his three daughters.

Rick is survived by his daughters Kaitlyn Hobby (Zack Hobby) of Conway, Madelyn Bell and Sophia Bell of Columbia and Mother, Betty Bell Lunsford. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins and is predeceased by his sisters, Rhonda Kaye, and Melissa Ann Johnson.

Rick will always be remembered by Kaitlyn, Madelyn & Sophia as a goofy, yet very fun-loving dad. He had a passion for golf and loved watching & yelling at Gamecock and Steelers football.  He had many talents, but the ones that most will remember him for were his hysterical dad jokes, snazzy way of dressing and his great ability to recite any movie quote or music lyrics.

Services will be held in both Columbia and Conway, SC to accommodate his family and friends that are spread across the beautiful state that he called home.

The Columbia Service will be held at Shive’s Funeral Home at Treholm Road Chapel on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 1-3pm. The Conway Service will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on HWY 905 on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 4-6pm.     

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Camp Cole.
