Thomas Michael Moore

Sumter, SC……………. Thomas Michael Moore, age 70, beloved husband of 42 years to Sharon Elizabeth Moore, died on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, at his home.

Mr. Moore was born in Charlotte, NC, a son of the late Oscar Clyde Moore and Lois Barker Moore. He met the love of his life, Sharon, in 1979 and they married in 1981. He graduated from St Leos with a criminal justice degree and served 22 years in the United States Air Force in law enforcement. He later retired as a foreign disclosure officer in 2018.

Surviving in addition to his wife are: One son, Brandon Michael Moore and his fiancé Jessica Mitchum of Gaston, SC; One granddaughter, Isabella Moore; One step grandson, Joshua Hutto; Two nephews, John Jolly and his wife Kim and their sons, Mason & Colton, of Walterboro, SC, and Michael Karstrom and his wife Robyn and their daughters, Lanie & Lily of Summerville, SC; One brother in law, Ed Huffman and his wife Jenny and their daughter Callie of Omaha, NE; and a niece Rachel Highfill and her son, Michael of Omaha, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Elaine Moore and Claudia Moore.

A memorial service with full military honors will be held at noon on Saturday, March 16th, 2024, at the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy McDonald officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 11:00am-12:00pm, Saturday, March 16th, 2024, at Bullock Funeral Home.
